Fixerwise provides a platform that allows travelers ("Users") to find and connect with local travel guides or fixers ("Fixers") to enhance their travel experiences. The Fixers are independent contractors and not employees of Fixerwise.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the Website, you may be required to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Verification
Fixerwise makes efforts to verify the Fixers' credentials and qualifications. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or reliability of their services. It is the User's responsibility to assess the suitability of the Fixer for their travel needs. Fixerwise serves as a platform for connecting fixers and travelers, and does not guarantee or endorse the quality, safety, or reliability of the services provided by the fixers. By engaging with fixers listed on Fixerwise, both fixers and travelers expressly waive any claims or legal actions against Fixerwise for any such events or occurrences that may happen during their interactions or services. It is the sole responsibility of fixers and travelers to exercise due diligence and take necessary precautions while engaging in any activities listed on Fixerwise.
User Conduct
You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable purposes. Furthermore, you shall not interfere with the Website's proper functioning or engage in any activity that may compromise the security of the Website or its Users.
Booking and Payment
Users may book services with Fixers through the Website. Fixerwise facilitates the payment process; however, the contract for services is solely between the User and the Fixer. Fixerwise is not liable for any issues or disputes arising from such contracts.
Fees and Disbursement Methods for Fixers
As part of our commitment to maintaining a sustainable, secure and reliable service, a fee of up to 20% will be charged on the total amount received by fixers. Fixers have the freedom to set their own rates, taking into account the applicable fees. We believe in transparency and ensuring a fair marketplace for all, while continuously striving to enhance the travel experience for both guides and travelers.
Fixers have the freedom to choose their preferred disbursement method from one the following options: PayPal, Venmo, Western Union, or Zelle. Fixerwise will process and send out disbursements to all fixers every Friday. This regular payment schedule allows a predictable and steady income stream.
Limitation of Liability
Fixerwise will make every effort to provide accurate and reliable information on the Website, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the content. By using the Website, you acknowledge that Fixerwise shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the Website.
Communication within the Website: Fixers and travelers are bound to communicate exclusively within the Fixerwise platform. All interactions, discussions, and messages related to services and arrangements must be conducted through our platform's designated communication channels.
Payments through the Website: Fixers and travelers agree to make all payments and financial transactions exclusively through the secure payment system provided by Fixerwise. Payments made outside of the platform are strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Policies: Users must comply with all terms, policies, and guidelines set forth by Fixerwise. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in the termination of their account and future access to the platform.
By using Fixerwise, both Fixers and Travelers acknowledge and agree that Fixerwise is not responsible for any issues, including but not limited to loss or damage to property, injury, or death that may arise from their interactions, engagements, or transactions facilitated through the platform.
Modification of Terms
Fixerwise reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after such modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
Fixerwise may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Website without prior notice if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any activity that may harm the Website or its Users.
